We replaced the dark and heavy wood furniture with more streamlined pieces in this dining room. The custom ivory drapery, the smaller scale, upholstered chairs, the subtly patterned rug, the large round mirror, and the unique lighting all help to brighten up this space and add modern contrast against the dark, more traditional wall color.
